Natural Family Planning (NFP)
Fertility awareness practiced as a means of either avoiding or achieving pregnancy without using contraception.
NFP includes the same biomarker tracking as FAM but is paired with periodic abstinence during the fertile window.
NFP is most commonly associated with Catholic teaching but is practiced for a variety of medical, ethical, and personal reasons.
